New Year - New Work Space

The workforce has been slowly making a shift to remote collaboration over the past few years.  Recently, COVID-19 forced office spaces to adapt to full-time remote work or a hybrid model to keep employees safe. It’s clear that most workers do want to see their colleagues in person periodically as well as retain work-from-home flexibility.

The Hybrid Workspace model is set to become the most effective workspace solution in 2022. Now is a great time to transition to a hybrid work schedule. As more and more companies start to transition to this more flexible model, our workplace tools will evolve to help make remote work more accessible and collaborative.

A hybrid workplace model typically mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees. In a hybrid workplace, employees enjoy more autonomy and better work-life balance – and are more engaged as a result. Employers benefit by building a more productive, healthy, stable workforce.

A basic hybrid work environment is a schedule in which employees work some remote days and some in-office days. How these home days work is dependent on the team and what kind of coordination is needed to be productive. Some of these models for a hybrid team also have flexible hours and variant office schedules rather than specific and fixed schedules.

As teams learn how to adapt to a hybrid work arrangement, companies can start to see exciting results. Outside of the office setting, remote employees have shown that they can be more or equally productive (95% of employees think so, and 94% of employers agree). In addition, remote workers have found improved mental health with flexible work. More than half of employers pointed to cost savings as a significant telecommuting benefit on top of happier employees leading to increased retention.

Companies are now converting individual space into collaborative space and social environments where workers can get together. After all, researchers suggests that unstructured collaboration outside formal meetings is key to a successful business. There may also be areas designated for mentoring, learning and training. By creating spaces that are less structured and more creative, the hope is to reframe the office as more of a destination than an obligation.

We seek to provide the flexibility in office form and function to respond to our client’s individual needs, knowing that every office environment and project is unique and the outcome designed to meet the needs of the changing work team. Utilise a space to accommodate contingent workforces on short-term bases or project team set apart from your home office base.   We offer a flexible plan and a variety of different office sizes to meet your needs and minimize the cost and time for your team.
